For this year's Salone del Mobile, Artifort is launching two novelties: Moon and Compass.

In addition to the launch, Artifort has created A Gallery of Icons to showcase its 2021 and 2020 novelties by renowned international designers such as Khodi Feiz, Luca Nichetto, Scholten & Baijings and Monica Förster. The presentation gives a modern take on inviting and iconic design. In collaboration with Kvadrat, Artifort is launching a new fabric Arda.

Launching Moon

 

Moon, by designer Patrick Norguet, emphasises the notion of comfort, art and a progressive character. An inviting, high-backed armchair, Moon catches the eye in any interior. The design evokes the phenomenon of weightlessness by means of imposing, compelling design language and a delicate, colourful base. Thanks to its comfortable, luxurious appearance and an ergonomic seating experience, Moon transitions seamlessly between a variety of spaces, from lobby reception areas, libraries, hotels and offices, to your own home. Sit. Converse. Wait. Read. This seat is modern art that provides a feeling of security and relaxation.

  • Moon comes in two types of pedestal: a steel 4-legged base or a swiveling disc base.
  • The three-dimensional, enfolding shell is made from a steel inner frame completely covered with comfortable foam.
  • The sleekly upholstered bucket seat comes with several recesses in the seat and headrest, providing extra seating comfort.

Introducing - Aloa

 

Lightness redefined. Aloa is a simple and elegant family of chairs and bar stools with an upholstered seat and back, supported by a graphic metal frame. Highly comfortable, Aloa fits perfectly around a dining table, at a restaurant or a meeting setting at the office.

  • Comfortable chair with upholstered seat and backrest.
  • The Aloa programme consists of a chair, a chair with armrest and three bar stools with a fixed seat height (60, 70 or 80 cm).
  • Excellent comfort thanks to the combination of high-quality cushion foam and a perfectly positioned supportive back cushion.

Introducing - Compass

 

Artifort Compass tables are simple, elegant wooden sofa companions that enhance seating spaces, adapting naturally to our flexible lifestyles. The sofa is a place for many activities from lounging with a cup of tea and a book, to watching a movie, serving guests, planning a trip, or joining a meeting. Compass tables enhance the comfort of all of these activities, providing the perfect surface for a drink or the perfect position for your laptop.

Compass’ semi-circular surface is welcoming from many angles, allowing you to easily position and reposition to suit your needs.

  • Compass is a series of solid oak side tables with a drop-shaped top and drop-shaped base, supported by a solid oak column.
  • Compass comes in two heights: work table (height: 65 cm) and side table (height: 57 cm).
  • The table top has a diametre of 40 cm. This offers space for a laptop, tablet, book or tray.
  • The table top and base are made of solid oak with an oil finish.
  • Opt for a nano-laminate top layer for the table top and base as an option.

New - Soft Facet

 

Soft Facet is a comfortable, inviting lounge armchair with a distinctive richness of detail. Its open, welcoming form feels like a soft embrace of a geometrically stitched spread, inviting you to sit back, relax and daydream. This feeling is enhanced by the fact that the entire contour of the wooden shell is foam-padded, thereby gently supporting the body, neck and head and comfortably adapting to the user’s sitting posture.

In collaboration with Kvadrat, Artifort is launching Arda

Launching Arda - a new fabric by Kvadrat-Febrik

 

As one of the early adopters, Artifort is presenting the iconic 070 sofa by Kho Liang Ie upholstered with the newest 2022 Kvadrat fabric: Arda. Arda is a knitted upholstery textile which recreates complex natural forms, structures, surfaces and colours found deep in the wild. It is part of a design project entitled Design by Nature led by Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren from the Swedish design studio Front.
 

The double-knitted textile replicates textures and tones discovered, photographed and 3D-scanned by Front. Its 12 colours express the experience of different natural environments found in Swedish forests, snowscapes and lakesides.
